God has called You

One day i opened my e-mail. And inside there's this e-mail from Dayspring, i want to share it with you, it may be your bless, maybe you bumped to my blog this day, right now, just to read this message, God is calling you.

God has called Each of us to serve Him in the place He has us. In His eyes we all have a ministry. Many serve Him in a local church through a variety of ministries, such as music, teaching, youth work, or by being a part of the church staff. Others serve on the mission field, on the job, at school, or at home.

God knows you and He knows your heart
desires to serve Him. You are someone that He will use to make a difference, to share His love, and to touch the hearts of others. What has qualified you for this high privilege of being used by Him? Is it your talents, your personality, your education, your influence, or your resume? It is none of these; rather, it is the response of your heart toward Him. God is always searching for those whose hearts are yielded to Him so that He can work mightily through them.

Sometimes we can be led to think that God's work is dependent upon us, upon what we do, and upon what we know. The truth is that God wants us to be totally dependent upon Him. He is the Treasure, we are the vessels; He is Vine, we are the branches; He is the Living Water, we are the channels through which He flows.

The apostle Peter was someone who needed to learn this important truth. Jesus taught him the futility of trying to get results through his own efforts by allowing him, an expert fisherman, to labor all night and come up empty. Afterward, when He followed Jesus' word to cast out into the deep, Peter pulled in a catch that was beyond his dreams.

As His servant, remember that your ministry is His idea and not yours. He is the One who knows you, who has called you, and who has equipped you to serve Him. Remain true, remain faithful, remain restful, and remain totally dependent upon Him.

God is not looking for those who are clever, but those in whom He can be wise; He is not looking for those who are talented, but for those to whom He can be all sufficient; He is not looking for those who are powerful, but for those through whom He can be almighty.

It is our prayer at DaySpring and me that God will encourage you today as you faithfully serve Him, and that He will use you to bring encouragement to others in a special way during Clergy Appreciation Month.

When we down to Nothing, God is up to something

Dear guys, i want to share my thought;
Aku pernah baca buku rohani tentang kesaksian seseorang. Di dalam bukunya Yesus berkata kepada orang tersebut; BANGUN, HIDUP, DAN NIKMATILAH HIDUP.

Kalimat itu berbicara supaya jangan menyia-nyiakan hidup yang sudah diberikan dan ditebus oleh Tuhan.

Dan kalimat itu pula sangat mengena terutama kepada saya.
Saya, yang saat ini pusing tujuh keliling dengan hidup saya, bingung merencanakan hidup, apakah mengejar impian atau sekolah kembali ataukah malah membantu usaha ortu.
Karena terlalu bingung apa yang ingin dilakukan malah 'hang' jadinya tidak melakukan apa-apa...belum lagi tekanan dari lingkungan sosial, keluarga, teman2, ..yang satu berkata sekolah aja lagii..atau...ya harus mulai dijalani kan atau...lama-lama kalau begitu ntar jadi beban orang tua loh..aduhh pusing pusing. Dipikir terus juga masih gak tahu2 maw jadi apa...karenanya saya hanya bisa pasrah sekarang, apapun yang terjadi, terjadilah menurut kehendak Tuhan...When we down to nothing, God is up to something.

Saya sering berpikir apa ada ya rekan-rekan yang bernasib sama dengan saya? Semoga uneg2 saya ini membantu, kamu tak sendirian di dunia ini, masih ada Renni yang sama2 pusing dengan kamu hehehe tetaplah percaya dengan Tuhan Yesus, Dia memiliki rencanaNya buat masing2 kita semua!

A cruel disease, as it does not affect the mind in the least. How will Aya react when told about her disease? And how will Aya live from now on? She lived life to the fullest until her death at 25. The script is based on the diary Aya kept writing until she could no longer hold a pen. The book that later followed entitled “One Litre of Tears” has sold over 1.1 million copies in Japan alone.

Aya’s only wish was “to live.” By carefully depicting Aya’s earnest desire to live, and the love of her family, friends, and lover, the drama, “One Litre of Tears” wishes to deliver her simple but strong message: “Just being alive is such a lovely and wonderful thing.”—-Fuji TV

I just watched the movie and the movie made me think about my life. I don't have strong will like Aya, I don't have any single clue of what i'll become or what do i want to become. Everyday i think more and more that i don't have any passion and my life may become useless. And so when i watched the movie...i am moved, Just being alive is such a lovely and wonderful thing! I must go strong! I must learn to value my life! I must take a step foward, brave, welcoming to the new unknown world. Simply, i must wake up, live and enjoy my live.

I don't know why, but it makes me want to cry when i read this. I still struggle with my life, so many decisions to make and i am afraid to take wrong decisions. what my heart told me? i can't listen to it! I don't hear a thing!....please, i need some time alone to hear what my heart told me.
